THE APEX STORY

This journey began in 2017 with an 18-year-old Percheron named Eli. Fresh from the auction pipeline, Eli arrived with a gentle spirit—and a serious injury. He had a persistent abscess caused by bone fragments from an avulsion fracture at the occipital bone. As his rehabilitation began, so did my deep interest in equine healing and bodywork.

Soon after came Cowboy, an older Quarter Horse who gave his whole heart to his rider, and began to demonstrate a significant shift in his behavior. Eventually diagnosed with navicular disease and kissing spines, helping him manage his discomfort led me to explore supportive, non-invasive therapies aimed at improving quality of life and comfort for horses like him.

Then came Mickey—the horse who shifted everything. Unlike the others, his issues were harder to pinpoint. Years of subtle compensatory patterns from an injury as a two year old, had created a cascade of challenges. It wasn’t until I combined consistent bodywork, myofascial release, PEMF therapy, and excellent farriery that he began to truly change.

What began as a mission to help my own horses feel better evolved into a calling: to help other horses and owners navigate similar paths. I’ve witnessed firsthand how thoughtful, consistent care can transform not just movement, but a horse’s overall well-being.

Your horse can improve. They can feel and move better. It takes time, commitment, and the right kind of support—and I’m here to help you get there.
