APEX Services
Comprehensive, Customized Sessions for Your Horse
Each session is fully inclusive and tailored to meet your horse’s unique needs, blending a range of bodywork techniques and supportive therapies.

No two sessions are the same—duration and modalities may vary depending on your horse’s condition and response on the day.
Before we begin, we’ll have a detailed conversation about your horse’s history, any current concerns you or your veterinarian have, and then perform a thorough hands-on assessment to identify areas needing focused attention.

1
Muscular Rehab therapy
This advanced form of bodywork goes beyond traditional massage by addressing the complex musculoskeletal and fascial relationships within the horse. Using targeted techniques, it helps restore functional movement, support soft tissue healing, enhance performance, and correct both acute injuries and long-standing compensatory patterns.

Common issues addressed include muscle asymmetry, reduced range of motion, chronic tension, gait irregularities, and post-injury or post-surgical recovery. It’s especially beneficial for horses returning to work, in training, or experiencing unexplained behavioral or performance changes.
2
Fascial Release
Fascial release is a gentle yet highly effective technique that targets the horse’s fascia—the connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, joints, and internal structures. When fascia becomes restricted due to injury, overuse, poor posture, or compensation, it can limit movement, cause discomfort, and affect overall performance.

Through slow, sustained pressure and specific techniques, fascial release helps to:
-
Restore healthy movement patterns
-
Improve flexibility and range of motion
-
Reduce pain and tension
-
Support better posture and biomechanics
-
Enhance recovery from injury or training strain
Many horses show noticeable improvements in comfort, responsiveness, and attitude after just a few sessions. Fascial release is especially beneficial for horses with unexplained stiffness, behavioral changes under saddle, saddle fit issues, or chronic compensation patterns.
This therapy is non-invasive and deeply calming, making it a valuable addition to any horse’s wellness and performance plan.
3
PEMF
Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy is a non-invasive, drug-free treatment that uses electromagnetic fields to stimulate cellular repair and support the body’s natural healing processes. It works at the cellular level to enhance circulation, reduce inflammation, and improve overall tissue function.

PEMF therapy is beneficial for:
-
Reducing pain, swelling, and inflammation
-
Accelerating recovery from injuries and surgery
-
Supporting joint and soft tissue health
-
Improving mobility and performance
-
Aiding in relaxation and stress reduction
Many horses experience visible improvements in comfort, movement, and recovery time—making PEMF an excellent option for performance horses, those in heavy work, or those recovering from injury.
This therapy is safe, comfortable, and well-tolerated by most horses, often becoming a favorite part of their care routine.

Vagus Nerve Reset w/ REZZIMAX
The vagus nerve plays a crucial role in regulating your horse’s nervous system, digestion, heart rate, and overall stress response. When the nervous system is out of balance—due to pain, anxiety, chronic tension, or trauma—it can impact your horse’s behavior, movement, and performance.
The Rezzimax Tuner, affectionately known as Rezzi, delivers gentle,
targeted vibration to stimulate the vagus nerve and support a “reset” of the nervous system. This promotes a shift from a sympathetic (fight-or-flight) state to a parasympathetic (rest-and-repair) state.
Benefits of a vagus nerve reset include:
-
Reduced anxiety and tension
-
Improved focus and trainability
-
Enhanced recovery from physical or emotional stress
-
Support for digestive health and gut function
-
Greater overall relaxation and body awareness
This gentle, non-invasive technique is especially helpful for sensitive, anxious, or reactive horses, and is often used alongside other bodywork therapies for deeper and more lasting results.
5
RED LIGHT THERAPY
Red Light Therapy uses safe, low-level infrared and red light wavelengths to stimulate cellular activity, reduce inflammation, and promote healing—all without drugs or invasive procedures. It’s a proven, effective tool for both performance enhancement and injury recovery.

This therapy works by increasing circulation and encouraging the body’s natural repair processes at the cellular level, making it ideal for a wide range of conditions.

This technology-based therapy integrates easily with other bodywork modalities, providing a powerful boost to your horse’s overall wellness and performance.
6
KINESIOLOGY TAPING (KT) & CUPPING
Kinesiology taping (KT) is a gentle, supportive technique that uses elastic therapeutic tape to influence the horse’s muscles, fascia, and nervous system. Once applied, the tape moves with the horse, providing subtle, constant feedback that encourages better posture, movement, and body awareness. KT can significantly improve a horse's proprioception.

Equine cupping is a manual therapy that uses suction cups to gently lift the skin and fascia, promoting increased blood flow, releasing tension, and encouraging detoxification of stagnant tissues. It’s particularly useful for addressing deep muscular tightness and chronic patterns of restriction.
